Construction Management Services for a new solids handling facility at the Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant. Project includes the construction of: new anaerobic digesters, a new digester control building, modifications to the existing dewatering building, a new electrical switchgear room, refurbishment of the existing gravity thickener and existing blend tanks, a new odor control system, installation of cogeneration equipment.  A new SCADA system was provided for nearly complete remote operation of the sludge handling capabilities of the plant.  Programmable logic cards (PLC) were integrated into the control systems for the new equipment including: motorized valves, pumps, sensors, and boilers.

Work also includes the extension of catwalks; construction of an overflow weir at the splitter box; repairing and resurfacing selected roadways; non-structural (concrete spall) repairs to 5 existing buildings; replacement of the asbestos cement effluent water line; improvements to irrigation supply systems; and ground stabilization consisting of approximately 560 – 4 inch drilled diameter holes filled with grout to a depth of 15 to 25 feet under the new digesters and structures.
