Quality Assurance Representative

Minimum 5-10 years experience in construction management, quality assurance and contract administration. Prefer someone familiar with the Army Corp of Engineers policies, procedures and processes. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and have excellent communication skills. Key competencies: critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and being results-oriented.

Office Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field with 5 to 10 years’ experience in office engineering on vertical construction project. Desire to work within a collaborative environment. Experience in software packages including Primavera Project Planner and MS Office. Excellent written and oral communications skill. Ability to work in a cooperative team environment, with significant client interface

Estimator

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred with minimum 5 years of estimating experience. Strong construction background. Heavy civil construction estimating experience. Experience estimating complex structures. Experience in performing quantity takeoffs and understand technical specification as well as contract documents. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and cost estimating software. Understanding of construction materials and methods, labor rates, and costs. Able to estimate crew cost including number and class or people, equipment needs, material and other expenses. Able to work in a cooperative team environment, with significant client interface

Project Inspector- Kauai

Minimum 5 years of construction inspection or related experience. Knowledgeable in material testing, MTRB certified preferred. Asphalt resurfacing or paving experience preferred. Willing to work nights. Should be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, write daily reports, and be proficient in MS Office. Also be able to understand and enforce project specifications and construction means and methods. Key competencies include: self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, problem solving, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Change and Claims Engineer

Minimum 5 years of change and claims experience. Bachelor’s degree required.  Experienced in architectural, engineering, or construction fields. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills. Professional Engineering licensed preferred. Project management or construction management experience preferred.Must be proficient in MS Office. Key competencies: critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and being results-oriented.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Must have Professional License in Mechanical Engineering with at least ten years of HVAC design experience. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Excellent management, organization, communication (verbal and written), and initiative skills. Proven leadership skills. Must possess a strong customer service orientation. Knowledge of US Building Codes. Proficient in MS Office. Able to conduct/direct/document onsite acceptance tests with contractors. Knowledge of CxA/EIT/PE/LEED AP/CCP, LEED Commissioning requirements, and photovoltaic systems preferred. Field experience in the A/E/C industry. Experience writing specifications, reports, and commissioning plans. Experience with functional testing and site survey services such as energy audits, HVAC system commissioning, and existing building commissioning. Knowledge of contractor submittal review process. Mechanical contractor project management experience. Facility management experience. Business development experience.

General Building Inspector

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with the inspection of general building and construction practices: general carpentry, reinforcing steel, concrete, mechanical and electrical systems, interior & exterior finishes, landscaping, masonry, and metals. ICC Certification or County Certifications are preferred. General understanding of quality control and assurance processes in construction. Proficiency in use of MS word, excel and/or blue beam. Willing to work various shifts on occasion. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good written and oral communication. Good personality skills in a construction. Must be able to prepare clear and concise written correspondence and reports. Must be willing and physically able to perform inspections in an outdoor field.

Mechanical Inspector

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with the inspection of mechanical installations: HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler, carwash equipment, fuel system, vacuum system, commissioning of system controls, elevators and escalators. ICC Certification or County Certifications are preferred. Proficient in reading plans and specification. General understanding of quality control and assurance processes in construction. Proficiency in use of MS word, excel and/or blue beam. Willing to work various shifts on occasion. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good written and oral communication. Good personality skills in a construction. Must be able to prepare clear and concise written correspondence and reports. Must be willing and physically able to perform inspections in an outdoor field

Project Manager

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of project management experience. Individual should have experience in overall management of projects, preparing contracts, managing schedules and budgets, and risk management/assessment. Experience with solar and PV preferred. Should have experience running multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Professional Engineering license preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office. Key competencies: critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and being results- oriented.

 

Senior Electrical Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, minimum 10 years’ experience in electrical engineering design (for the Construction Industry), and minimum 5 years’ experience using AutoCAD & Revit software are required.  Must be familiar with reading and interpreting technical drawings & blueprints and must be able to obtain government security clearance for specified projects.  Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.  High attention to detail and accuracy.  Must possess strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.  Professional License in Electrical Engineering preferred.
