Community Life
Community Life is at the heart of who we are. Across the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island, our team actively engages in meaningful service that strengthens our communities and supports causes we care about. From our Legacy community service initiative, we are committed to making a difference. Whether it’s environmental stewardship or addressing food insecurity, our employees and their families show up with heart, purpose, and aloha.

Adopt-A-Highway
As part of our Legacy community service initiative, we proudly participate in the State of Hawaii Adopt-A-Highway Program across Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island. Through regular roadside cleanups, we help preserve the natural beauty of our islands while preventing litter and pollutants from entering storm drains and streams. This ongoing commitment supports a cleaner, safer environment for the communities we serve.

Hawaii Foodbank - Senior Packing Day
In the spirit of giving back, each year our team and their families proudly participate in the Annual Hawaii Foodbank Food Packing Day—packing over 2,500 boxes of food to help feed our kūpuna across the community. These boxes are part of the Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), a vital service that provides nutritious food to low-income seniors aged 60 and older.

Engineering Week
Every year, we participate in outreach programs to introduce and inspire young students to the world of engineering. Through hands-on activities at local elementary schools, we teach students to problem-solve using their creativity and teamwork. We aim to inspire the next generation to explore careers in STEM and imagine what’s possible.

Wellness
As part of our core value, Wellness, we participate in events like the American Heart Association Walk and the Kidney Walk. We encourage our team to stay active through fun engaging activities such asself-defense classes, yoga and hiking the scenic Aiea Loop Trail—promoting health, connection, and a balanced lifestyle.

Annual CANstruction
Each year, our Design Team showcases their creativity and engineering expertise at the Annual AIA CANstruction competition—designing and building structures entirely out of canned goods. This experience brings employees together while supporting a meaningful cause. After the competition, all canned items are donated to the Hawaii Foodbank to help fight hunger in our community.

Kokua Kalihi Valley Ho'oulu Aina
We help to contribute to the restoration of the ʻāina. Through hands-on experiences, we deepened our understanding of the land, expressed our gratitude, and strengthened our sense of kuleana (responsibility)to care for and protect Hawaiʻi’s natural resources for future generations.

Hawaii Meals on Wheels
In partnership with Hawaii Meals on Wheels, we help our kupuna with disabilities maintain their independence. Through nutritious meal deliveries and the donation of 100 home good bags filled with essential items, we’re honored to give back to the community.
